FX Developing Projects From 'Justified' Boss, Anthony Kiedis (Exclusive)

Amomg the projects in the News Corp.-owned cable network's development pipeline is Bunker. The project, which hails fromChernin Entertainment and Fox Television Studios,revolves around a female cop psychologist from Boston. STORY: Top 50 Power Showrunners 2011 NovelistLehane(Shutter Island, Mystic River, Gone Baby Gone) will write and executiveproduce the project alongside Chernin Entertainment's Peter Chernin andKatherine Pope. The cabler is also developing Laredo, an hourlong crime drama set at the Texas/Mexicoborder with Flags of Our Fathers scribe William Broyles attached toexecutive produce. Newcomer Eric Lodal will write and EP theFX Productions and FTVS project. PHOTOS: Behind the Scenes of 'Justified' In addition, FX is in development onScar Tissue, a drama loosely based on theautobiography of the same name by Red Hot Chili Peppers' frontman AnthonyKiedis. The drama, previously in development at HBO, comes from Catapult 360 and FXProductions. Entourage co-executive producers Mike Benson and Marc Abrams will executiveproduce through their Catapult 360 shingle, alongside Kiedis and JasonWeinberg (Enlightened). John Sayles, whopenned a previous version of the drama before FX picked it up, will not continue with the project. Finally, the network is developingThe Americans, aRussian espionage drama set in the 1980s during the collapse of the Soviet Union. The project, from DreamWorks Television,centers on Russian sleepers operatingin the United States. Justified showrunner Graham Yost is on board to produce, and shouldAmericans be picked up to series, it would mark his third drama currently onthe air (others include Justified and TNT's Falling Skies). DreamWorks TV's Darryl Frank and JustinFalvey are on board to executive produce alongside Joe Weisberg (FallingSkies, Damages), who will pen the project.
